Welcome!
We believe in the ripple effect of Early Childhood Education to empower children to actively contribute to a sustainable future.
Little Green Steps WA (LGS WA) is a unique and innovative program that partners with early childhood education providers to connect them with our hub of practical resources to achieve a lifetime of sustainable living.
This involves engagement on an individual and group basis in training and support measures, together with leading edge research, to embed 'reaching out and treading lightly' through the concepts of the "Social Handprint and Ecological Footprint".
Our people are completely dedicated to a sustainable future through practical measures built around lived experience and are driven by a desire to preserve all that is unique about our planet for future generations.
By linking to the National Quality Standard (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Australian Curriculum (AC) sustainable practices aren’t about adding more to your busy schedule. It can be as simple as changing how you do things in your daily activity and we show you how.
