Reducing Waste Together – Wednesday 8th May (Geraldton)

Join Little Green Steps WA in partnership with the Waste Authority WA to learn about what waste is, tips on how to best manage waste in your services and information on how the City of Greater Geraldton manages waste and how they can assist your services. Early Years educators come along and update your tool box with waste reduction resources and ideas through this fun and interactive workshop.

  • Learn about waste and what your centres can do about it;
  • Learn where waste goes within the City of Geraldton and how you can minimise your impact;
  • Explore links to the NEW Sustainability Priority in the EYLF, the NQS and the WA Curriculum;
  • Hear what others are doing to reduce waste in their early childhood services; and
  • Take away activities you can run with children to help them learn about waste issues.

Participants will also receive the updated Little Green Steps WA early childhood waste reduction kit.

This is a free event, but registration is required.
