Reducing Waste in Early Years Setting – Saturday 17th August
Join Little Green Steps WA in partnership with the Waste Authority WA and Robyn Brown, garden specialist from ‘Waste is My Resource’ as the special presenter.
Learn about what waste is, tips on how to best manage waste in your services and information on ways to close the loop on food waste by embedding earth-cycling practices including:
- collecting food waste,
- composting,
- worm farming,
- water-wise gardening,
- seed raising with kids.

This workshop will show how waste is linked to the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.
