Join Little Green Steps to become grounded in many interconnected ways of being sustainable in your early years settings. This workshop will holistically make connections between the Sustainable Schools WA framework to themes of waste, water, energy, transport and biodiversity while also exploring the social sustainability themes of multicultural and social diversity and community partnering. A Noongar focus will be threaded throughout the activities.
We will provide:
• Fun, practical activities for children (and educators!) to spark ways to embed sustainable practices. (NEW ACTIVITIES DEMONSTRATED).
• Support structures and planning strategies to help your early years service be more sustainable.
• Links to the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Opportunities to network with other early childhood professionals
