Fun with Frogs Kit

Fun with Frogs Kit - Why learn about frogs?

When we look at the topic of sustainability, we need to observe biodiversity and the interactions that take place in our natural environment. Frogs are part of this biodiversity and play an important role in our natural environment. Frogs are environmental indicators that tell us whether the environment is healthy or not by their presence or absence.

Young children have a natural curiosity of the world around them and everything in it. It is at this time that children should be exposed to as many different aspects of our natural world as possible to develop knowledge and understanding of how their world works.

Frogs are often a favorite among young children and this Fun with Frogs Kit provides teachers with developmentally-appropriate resources to capitalise on this interest.

The kit is available for a week at a time from:

City of Cockburn Coolbellup Community Hub, 90 Cordelia Ave, Coolbellup

South East Regional Community Landcare (SERCUL), 1 Horley Road, Beckenham

Please contact lgs@aaeewa.org.au to book out the kit.
