Introduction to Sustainability – Wednesday, 17th April

This is a hybrid workshop and can be attended in person or online. This workshop provides a solid foundation for anyone working in early years settings with practical examples on how to embed sustainability in your service.  Using the Sustainable Schools WA ecological footprint and social handprint, educators are introduced to sustainable actions by engaging in a variety of activities and topics relating to waste, biodiversity, culture and more.

You will receive:
• Activities and resources to help your services become more sustainable.
• Assistance with addressing the links between the WA Curriculum, EYLF, NQS and sustainability.
• Inspiration for involving children in hands-on sustainability activities and routines.
• an opportunity to network with other service educators and staff in your area.
