The Australian Early Childhood Sustainability Alliance is thrilled to invite you to our exciting forth FREE online early learning circle on Wednesday 28th August 2024 at 7:30 PM (AEST) This learning circle will have a sustainable procurement/ethical consumption focus.
The learning circle will help you explore both your individual and your service/workspace’s consumption practices in order to learn how to be a more ethical consumer, learning how to both consume differently and consume less. In trying to live more sustainably and support our children and families to learn more about sustainable living we have developed quite good skills in recycling, home gardening and some strategies for energy and water saving. However, one of the key contributors to the current challenges for earth is consumption. We are currently using fifty percent more resources that the earth can provide, and this is growing every year. Our ever-increasing demand for resources and the consequent damage to the land, water and air is destroying our planet.
