Marine Life Education Kit

LGSWA has a kit to give educators ideas to connect to marine life. The kit has two story books, Whale Finds a Friend and Under the Sea, giving lots of visual prompts about marine life.

The coral, seaweed, starfish and sea anemones were crochet using reclaimed fibre from the op shop. A selection of sea creatures from Ikea added an octopus, shark, Orca, blue whale and porpoise. Educators may have other objects they can add but we are trying to not use plastic based toys.

The kit is available through the City of Cockburn Coolbellup Community Hub, 90 Cordelia Ave, Coolbellup for a week at a time, so please contact lgs@aaeewa.org.au to book out the kit.
