FUNDED BY WASTE WISE SCHOOLS .... Early years educators COME ALONG IN PERSON OR ONLINE to the Shire of Serpentine - Jarrahdale & learn NEW waste reduction ideas, skills and resources through this fun, interactive workshop:
• Learn about waste and the problems it can cause with a special focus on waste generated in early years settings;
• Learn what happens to waste in your region and how your Shire can help you reduce waste;
• Explore links to the NQS, EYLF and WA Curriculum;
• Hear what others are doing to reduce waste in their early childhood services; and
• Take away NEW ideas and activities you can run with children to help them learn about waste issues and close the loop on organic waste.
Participants will also receive the 2020 UPDATE of Little Green Steps WA early childhood waste reduction kit.
